Flint Michigan Adds Third-Party Water Testing


A city administrator announced plans to start 1024px-Flint_River_in_Flint_MIchigan.jpgindependent third-party testing of the water. This goes above the requirements. Over the past few months, there has been inconsistency about the testing process and results since the city of Flint, Michigan, switched water sources in spring of 2014. The results of the city's testing conflicted with independent results, leading to a public health crisis when lead was determined to be in the water, after many children were found with elevated lead levels.
