Amy Winslow, President
Amy is a life sciences executive with two decades of experience in diagnostics, medical devices, and pharmaceutical services. Amy was named by Mass High Tech as one of the “2013 Women to Watch” which recognizes women in technology and life sciences who are go-getters, hardworking, inspirational and motivational to their peers.
Before joining Magellan in 2011, Amy founded and led MW Advisory, a strategy and marketing consulting firm serving fast growing companies in novel diagnostic and device markets. Earlier she spent five years as Vice President, Marketing for Athena Diagnostics, a $55 million reference laboratory specialized in the development and commercialization of novel neurodiagnostic testing services, now part of Quest Diagnostics. During her tenure at Athena she built a marketing organization that drove sustained double-digit growth and was a key member of the executive team where she was instrumental in the sale of Athena to Behrman Capital for $122M.
Amy began her career as a product manager at C.R. Bard and served as a Marketing Manager for Genzyme Transgenics. Amy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Biology from Brown University.
